Breakfast with our hosts

Our translator who helped throughout dinner was not able to return for breakfast so we had a fairly quiet meal.  We presented our hosts with gifts from Kansas (Sunflower coasters and windchime, chocolate sunflower seeds for the kids, and an Air Capital t-shirt).  I think we succeed in communicating why these were special.  We had already explained that David is a pilot at dinner last night.  I'm pleased to say that the sunflowers coincidentally matched some other yellow flowers in her kitchen.  We have received very nice gifts from each of the host families that we have visited, including Turkish coffee, chai (tea), ornately stitched towels, and Turkish delight.  It is adding to the weight of our luggage with every stop (especially the Turkish delight, it weighs a ton!)  Hopefully we won't have trouble on the last flight back to Istanbul.

We noticed something interesting on the fridge.  Lots of blue and pink decorations.  If you look closely you can see that they are birth announcements.
