Gardens are the best

The gardens around Rosenborg Palace were beautiful (much nicer than Versailles in my opinion, although on a much smaller scale).
The castle was surrounded by a moat, which helped it survive the various fires that ravaged the city throughout history.

There were several fountains around the park and lots of people enjoying the very sunny day.  Our group got lunch from a nearby pizza restaurant and brought it back to the park to picnic.  There was a group of school kids there playing a lazy game of baseball (no one was pitching, just toss and hit the ball).  It was not an actual baseball and no one had mitts, so no one could field the ball very well, but everyone seemed to be having a very good time.
