We started our exploration of Amsterdam at Dam Square, where the once royal palace and the New Church are (it is now converted to an art museum/exhibit space). The square was full of entertainment: Possidon posing for phots, a display about the Syrian War, and the National Memorial for WWII. There was a break dancing group that was drawing a lot of attention.
