We took a lunch break at a cafe near the Bascilca and enjoyed some great pasta and pizza (saving room for gelatto later in the day)
Street musicians providing some ambiance for our lunch...they were pretty good. I'd much rather give a euro to the musicians than to all the hawking street vendors out to sell us "stuff".
Motor scooters everywhere!

We saw a street protest. The police were keeping them from blocking traffic. They were banging drums and pots. I couldn't read the banner though.
