We were up around 7:00 to make the return trip by bus from Manisa to Izmir airport and then on to Istanbul. After our luggage adventure on our last flight, everyone packed their carry-on bags to the max., and it was a good thing too because the weight limit for this flight was just 15 kgs for checked luggage! We got in around noon and headed to the hotel which is only about a 10 minute ride from the airport, UNLESS your bus driver is clueless and hasn't found directions for the places he has been chartered to take you to and gets lost. We eventually got to the hotel, left our luggage and headed out to further explore the city.
