Hotel in Izmir

We arrived at our hotel at around 1:30 am in Izmir.  Fortunately there was very little traffic at that time of night.  The city is quite large (approx 3 million).  Our hotel was a bit of a surprise from our previous lodgings, but perfectly adequate.  It reminded me very much of the accommodations I have when traveling in Europe on a budget.  Clean but small, no frills.
