We were picked up from the airport in a very nice mini bus. Lovely blue "party bus" lighting and all. We took a short drive into town to a hotel restaurant. Many of our meals have been the same meal for everyone or a choice of one or two items from a menu, pre-orderd and ready for us to pick up between tours. All of the food has been excellent with a wide variety provided.
Delicious lentil soup for an appetizer. There were several spices passed around to add to the soup. One was sumac, which seems to be common. The other was mint. Both added a nice additional flavor to the soup.

We got in to the hotel around 10:00 pm, so we went to bed pretty quickly.
