After seeing the Blue Mosque we jumped on a city tram and headed to our rendevous point with our bus and then to the airport. The tram system is very modern and clean. A quick swipe of a passcard to enter and you can travel as far along the line as you want. We went to the end of the line and met our bus within 5 minutes. (I have been soooo impressed with our guide's ability to coordinate our bus pick ups. We have not been left standing around at all. A real challenge in Istanbul traffic.)
We drove over the Bospherous Bridge to the Asian side of the city and a domestic airport to catch our flight to Kayseri.
Lots of national pride. The Turkish flag is flying in many places around the city.
