Drive to Ankara

After a very full day touring Cappadocia region, we hoped on the bus once more and drove another 3 1/2 hours to Ankara.  It was a pretty drive and reminded me of Kansas in places.  There was one set of low mountains that we passed, then it was a flat plain with large wheat fields.  Eventually we came past as large salt water lake just as the sun was setting.  Very pretty view.  We pulled into our hotel in Ankara around 10:30 pm and headed to bed pretty quickly.
