Books, Boots, and Bags on Broadway

Our hotel is on a street that is reminiscent of Broadway in NYC in the 1970s.  Lots of theatres and restaurants, but also filled with bookstores, shoes stores, and luggage stores.  No kidding, every store for blocks carries these three items.

Priscilla Queen of the Desert.  There were also a number of other shows where the cast were on the street during the day trying to round up business for the evening.  One show had something to do with birds and the merchandizers were going crazy with bird whistles and other bird items.  It was hard to even pass by on the sidewalk.

We passed two specialty chocolate stores.  This one still have a few bars left that were decorated to look like soccer fields from the World Cup.
