I've been trying to decide if I think BA is a trashy city or not. Its kind of in between. People don't appear to wantonly throw trash on the ground, but there are very few street cleaners on the streets. There are some neighborhoods that are much cleaner than others. I have not seen much sign of recycling here, but there were large recycle bins at the zoo, which makes sense if you are talking about saving habitats, etc.
