After visiting the zoo, we strolled through the biggest park in the city (I don't know the name). It was a clear sunny day and there were lots of people out enjoying the outdoors.
There were several large ponds in the park. This one had a large island in the center and rented paddle boats. It seemed odd to see the high apartment buildings on the edge of the park skyline.
There were tons of bike and roller blade rental places. The park had a large paved road around it where everyone biked, skated and walked. The 'car' bike in the middle had 10, yes 10, people piled on it. I am SO glad I was not one of the 4 people peddling!
These portable toddler toys were stored in the yellow building and aparrently brought out on the weekends (?). It was free to play on them.
The paddle boats looked like racing style boats!
This four person model was new to me. Only 2 people paddled.
We saw a variety of food vendors. These two cotton candy vendors were my favorites. One on an old moter bike with a hand crank cotton candy machine, and one on a bike.
There was also some kind of a festival with a stage and performers, but we were tired enough that we didn't venture over to explore that scene.
