Standing in line

A small note that people tend to stand in line patiently here.  When we arrived and had to wait to get through customs at the airport, people queued quite peacefully and without much pushing.  They also managed to merge lines by alternating instead of everyone for themselves.

Here are people on the curb waiting for a bus.  This seems fairly common.  They are on the far curb and standing out of the way of passing pedestrians.
