We will be headed to Hermosillo Mexico, just South of the Nogales border crossing. It will be about a 20 hour drive. Fortunately we are breaking it up into two days, but 10 hours in the car is still a long drive! We can spend some of the time planning for the vacation bible school time that we'll be assisting a local church with. We only have two Spanish speakers in our group, so we will likely do some skits of bible stories with our Spanish speakers providing some narrative. The members of the group who have made this trip before say that the kids love the silliness of these skits! I think I'll likely put my energies to work on crafts instead. I enjoy silly, but not being the center of it : )
