Summer time Christmas feels WEIRD!

Things are not Over the Top Christmasy around here, but there are definitely decorations up.  It just feels off when its 70 degrees and flowers are blooming.

This was one of about 8 different display windows that had automated marionette dolls from Santa's workshop dancing in the window.  They were quiet the attraction as people walked by.

This 4 story tall Santa was outside Farmers - the largest department story in the city.  He wasn't an inflatable, but I couldn't tell what he was made off.  He was flanked by two large reindeer.

The topiary trees at this house were all covered with tinsel.  We didn't see a lot of personal house decorations, so this one caught my eye.

In Hokitika on the West coast

Nearly every town we've passed through, large and small, has had little holiday banners on the city light posts on the main street. Each of these has been unique and fun to see, but I've failed to capture any of these in pictures.
