5k race in Scotland

David and I sat on the sidelines and cheered on Scott and Charlene and all the others who ran in the Great Scottish Walk and Run this morning.  I was particularly impressed that they could accomplish this after getting very little sleep the previous day on the plane and struggling with jet lag.

It was fun to watch all the little kids running around the finish area.  The army had a giant inflatable obstacle course that these kids were all over.   We thought about posting a picture of the trail that climbs up Arthurs Keep (visible behind Scott and Charlene) and saying that was the race course, but it was on a paved road that runs around the base of the mountain.

Their participant medals were particularly cool.
