Random observations

I loved the bird "condo" on the side of this house.

David and I took the bus the other day to get to the car rental place.  Google maps did a good job of showing us a stop near us, a bus number and route, and the end stop where we needed to get off.  We went to the bus top and noticed that the route numbers on the sign did not include the bus we were supposed to take, but then there were two different route maps and one did include our bus number.  We waited uncertainly and it did come along shortly.  We started watching the buses more closely and noted there were two different marked buses:  More and Yellow Bus.  Add to the mix the UniBus (for students) and you might have some confused travelers.  I've never been in a city with two private bus companies that somehow divided the city routes.

Parking occurs facing both directions on both sides of the street.  I suppose this makes the vary tight parking slightly easier...

The UK does actually have 8 lanes of highway!  (It only lasted about 2 miles)
We've mostly traveled around cities and in the hinterlands in Scotland, so this was a bit of a surprise on our journeys this time.

Love the name of this snack...
Sam's club size pack of tea bags!
