Family visit to Washington DC

I've waited a long time for one of my professional conferences to return to DC again so I could combine my conference attendance with a family trip to the capital.  Finally it happened this summer.  I made some reservations in advance for some cool things like a tour of the White House and a trip up to the viewing platform in the Washington monument, and then tried to arrange as many possible museums and monuments that I could cram on the schedule.  Although Adam got sick at one point and missed some stuff, all in all it was a wonderful trip.  I ran out of time before the semester started to post pictures, so I'm finally doing that now...
