Erfurt is famous for its Christmas markets. We've enjoyed exploring a bit every evening.

We're slowly figuring out the different menu words based on logical choices: Zucker and Zimt on a shaker = sugar and cinnamon; Apfelmus = applesauce; schokolade = chocolate (pretty obvious by all of the chocolate at the booth); Puffbohnesuppe = some kind of soup, but it took google translate when we got back to the hotel wifi to determine it was 'fava bean'...

We skipped the chocolate covered chilis
Got some delicious trinken schokolade (hot chocolate) with our favorite Leibnez from the store). This cocoa was amazingly think!
