After months of planning and backup planning, we finally successfully left the country to take Delaney to "uni" (university) in the UK this week. We have never traveled with this much luggage in our lives! I hope Delaney has enough room in her flat for all the belongings she is bringing.
I've never seen the DFW international terminal so empty.
Even the duty free store was temporarily closed.
We started off with a delayed flight from Wichita to DFW, but fortunately were rescheduled on a British Airways flight later in the evening. A five hour delay was better than getting stuck in Dallas overnight!
