The Spice Bazaar

Our last visit today was to the Spice Bazaar (the Grand Bazaar was closed on Sunday).  It is a long building with shops packed in tightly ( you can see down the vaulted hallway).  Every kind of delicious food was available along with a few other goods such as tea and coffee cups, some clothes and misc other items.  It was packed with people and merchants were not shy to call out to you in a variety of languages seeking a response.  One of our guys speaks Arabic and some of the Syrian refugees approached him and got a response, he had a hard time shaking them after that.  I found gifts for several family members, but have more shopping to do.  Our group made good use of their 1 1/2 hrs at the market and our suitcases will be heavier for our next flight!
